MAGic Kits
The mAGic (Multidisciplinary
AGricultural Integrated Curriculum)
Kits were created under the leadership of the
Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and
Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education
Project (FCAE). Funds were made available from the
Illinois State Board of Education through a
subcontract with the Facilitating Coordination in
Agricultural Education Project (FCAE).
The curriculum in the mAGic kits are multidisciplinary, all inclusive, and
designed to bring agriculture to life in your classroom. The mAGic kits address
Illinois Learning Standards in math, science, English language arts and social
studies.
These kits were revised from the original Agri-Science Kits that were developed by the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, teamed with the Illinois State Board of Education and the Facilitating Coordination Agricultural Education staff.
